Today and Tomorrow (T & T) Nursing Services’ was founded in 2002 by three compassionate and nurturing Registered Nurses who, collectively, have over 70 years of experience and continue to be active care givers to our clients.
T & T’s commitment to you is to provide the best services by a caring and qualified caregiver 24 hours a day every day of the year.
Our mission statement is straight forward and requires that all T & T caregivers and staff are screened to ensure that they understand the mission and that they will conduct themselves in a manner that exemplifies its spirit. It states:
Our mission is to provide quality healthcare to the public, to treat our patients and their families with dignity and respect, to conduct our business honestly and fairly, and to maintain the highest standards and traditions of the Health Care Industry.
Our Services will allow our patients:
• To have most medical services prescribed by their doctor performed in the comfort of their home by T & T
• To live a more meaningful life by staying in the comfort of their home, with family, friends and pets
• To have peace of mind in knowing that T & T nurses and care givers are well trained and experienced
• To have a detailed medical and lifestyle record available for review by their medical team
• To have a caring companion who can assist with everyday activities
T & T’s “Eleven Commandments of Patient Care”
T & T also has developed “The Eleven Commandments of Patient Care” that all care givers and staff are required to read and to follow. They are:
1. Our patients are essential to our success—they are our business
2. Our patients are dependent on us—our reputation is dependent upon them
3. Our patients honor us when they choose our services—we are not doing them a favor by serving them
4. Our patients do not disturb our work—they are our work
5. Our patients are in need of comforting—we should not argue with them or upset them because they are “cranky” or argumentative
6. Our patients are part of our business—they are not “outsiders”
7. Our patients and their families deserve all the courtesy and attentive treatment we can give
8. Our patients bring their illnesses to us as care givers—it is our duty to fulfill the faith they have in us
9. Our patients are not cold statistics—they and their families are human beings with feelings and emotions just like us
10. Our patients are not the only ones needing our services—we need to also consider their loved ones and friends
11. Our patients have the right to expect that we will provide them with the best care possible in a caring and compassionate manner
