
All T & T Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aids (HHAs) meet all state standards and have verified and appropriate training, licenses, certificates and credentials. In addition, the also meet T &T’s high standards related to skill, knowledge, dependability, and compassion.
They provide a variety of services available 24 hours a day including:
• Assistance with Activities of Daily Living
o Transfer Assistance
o Bath Assistance
o Eating
o Toilet Assistance
o Walking Assistance
o Bed Care/Turning/Skin Monitoring
o Dressing
• Assisting with the Change of a Colostomy Bag and other Ostomy Devices
• Reinforcement of Dressings
• Assisting with the Use of Devices for Aid to Daily Living such as a Wheelchair or Walker
• Assisting with Prescribed Range of Motion Exercises
• Assisting with a Prescribed Ice Cap or Collar
• Conducting Simple Urine Tests for Sugar, Acetone or Albumin
• Measuring and Preparing Special Diets
• Measuring:
o Temperature
o Pulse, Respiration
o Blood pressure
o Intake and Output of Fluids
• Tasks Associated with the Use of Assistive Devices
• Tasks Associated with Maintaining Environment and Resident Safety
• Tasks Associated with Health Related Data Gathering
• Recognition and Reporting of:
o Abnormal Findings
o Signs
o Symptoms
• Tasks Associated with:
o Socialization
o Leisure Activities
o Reality Orientation
• Tasks associated with end of life care
• Tasks Associated with:
o Basic First Aid
o CPR
o Emergency Care
• Tasks Associated with Nutrition and Hydration
• Tasks Associated with Elimination
• Documenting Services Provided to the Patient
• Maintaining a Clean, Safe, and Healthy Environment Including
o Light Housework
o Washing Dishes
o Doing Laundry
o Changing Linens
• To assist the patient in the self administration of medication by preparing as needed
o Juice
o Water
o Cups
o Spoons
• If Requested:
o Open and Close a Medication Container or Tear the Foil of Prepackaged Medications
o Assist the Patient in the Self-Administration Process of Medication
o Assist the Patient by Placing Unused Doses of Solid Medication Back into the Medication Holder
